The Moon is our deeper needs, our comfort, our family (chosen absolutely counts, too, and sometimes especially), our bodies, our feelings, etc. When the Moon eclipses the Sun, we are reminded that "self-actualization" is important, but it loses meaning if it happens at the expense of how we feel. We need connection, comfort, support, authentic feeling.
Pisces energy has to do with sacrifice, and for some there might be revelations that cause us to have to make a choice. Again, remember that eclipse energies do not only effect at the moment of the lunation, but well before and past the actual event. Those of us who are holding onto very fixed ways of doing and seeing things might really be splashing around now. But the waves are slowly wearing down defenses---in some cases very quickly via flood--and we might not be able to keep up the same illusions anymore. This may sound scary, but its trying to free us of our own imprisoning, poisoning ideas. And we all have 'em. That's being human.
The illusion behind some long-standing conditions might be revealed now for those of us who need that. It can be shocking how much we've allowed for certain things--the experience could feel like waking up from an enchantment. We might be more aware of our own needs, and the ways in which we could be sacrificing ourselves unnecessarily.
By late this afternoon the Moon will move into Aries, and his can help us burn away some of the fog. And Mars has moved into Sagittarius, bringing some more fire into the picture. We start to hear a call to come back up out of the deep waters.
