"Full Moon in Virgo. This photo was taken after ritual. The fragmented glass of my cell camera screen made shimmers in the image from the light of the candle-- a reflection of the medicine of Pisces/Virgo -- their interplay of disintegration/integration. Virgo is to me the sign of the Priestess; Virgin in the true sense of self-possessed, whole, and always experiencing the world as new... and, as eternal. Luna opposes Neptune, and Sol moves toward a conjunction. I began the day at the Sea, set the intention to open to all the I AM; I danced next to the singing waves. As Lord Sun sets on this day, I look forward to seeing Lady Luna's bright and beautiful face illuminating the land."
At 1:20pm ET today we have a Full Moon in Virgo! This one is packing a punch! Luna is in Virgo opposing Sol in Pisces. Virgo can be highly self-critical, and so we need Pisces compassion to balance it, reminding us of heart and meaning. Virgo can get super caught up in the details, forgetting the big picture. What really matters in the end?
Virgo asks us if we are integrated, or, if we are in integrity. This Full Moon might have a way of illuminating ways in which we are not, showing us where we might get better aligned. Maybe we are in medium-integrity, and just in need of a tune up.
Jupiter in Virgo conjuncts the North node, making an opposition to Chiron to Pisces. This, too highlights the Virgo-Pisces axis of service and devotion. In the longer term trajectory, Saturn comes to make a T-square with these two poles from Sagittarius, challenging us to clearly define our priorities. To what am I willing to devote myself entirely? Why am I here? What do I serve? Usually, its that which we enjoy doing most that is of most service.
Shorter term, the energy hits a peak. Some of us will feel the stress. Don't expect logic or facts to win the day today. And that's ok!! This lunation opposes Neptune, so confused thoughts and feelings can be prevalent. Suddenly we seem to be plunged into an ocean of feeling, an alchemical solutio, intended to flush out that which is not a match to our highest good. It can seem like a drowning, but it is intended to get us to FEEL. Like the long lost artifacts of an old shipwreck, washed up to the surface. It is intended to show us where we need more love, where we most need healing and compassion.
The water element continues to play out its powerful medicine as the Sun moves into conjunction with Neptune throughout the week. Mix this with the Mars in Scorpio shadow, and we have some volatile stuff! Again, things can feel confused. Con= "with" + Fusion = "together, joined". That's a lot of together-ness! This is Higher Self bringing you closer, asking for us to "melt into" and allow for more of who we actually are. We'll suffer if we resist and insist on separation from Divinity. The water washes away resistance.
The image today is from a personal post. A friend who saw it pointed out that it had aspects of the Hermit card in the tarot, which corresponds to Virgo. I add it as an expression of today's energies.
