The Four Phases: Belly Dance and Moon Magic
Join Aepril for a four-week journey through the phases of the moon, where belly dance becomes a gateway to embodied magic and felt energy.
Each class follows one phase of the lunar cycle, new, waxing, full, and waning, weaving together belly dance technique, expressive movement, and alchemical exploration.
Whether you're returning to movement after time away or deepening your practice, this series invites you to dance with intention, plant what you long to grow, and move with the rhythm of the moon as she seeds, builds, illuminates, and releases.
You'll practice fundamental movement: isolations, layers, turns and traveling steps. You'll learn short combinations that grow each week. You'll work with meditation, ritual, and intention-setting drawn from each phase. No experience necessary, just show up ready to move.

This class welcomes all genders, bodies and abilities. Movements can be modified.
Class One, New Moon/Dark Moon, September 8: Plant your intention in the dark. We begin, ground into presence, and seed what you long to grow in the weeks ahead.
Class Two, Waxing Moon, September 15: Tend what you planted. We build the combinations and the energy, feeding your intention as it reaches toward the light.
Class Three, Full Moon, September 22: Dance toward fullness. We dance built choreography, celebrating what has become visible.
Class Four, Waning Moon, September 29: Harvest, dissemination, and release. We complete, honor what you've grown, and let go of what has finished its work.
