Most of us are carrying a version of ourselves that works. It gets us hired, loved, relied upon. It can also be a costume, and after enough years you can't always tell where it ends and you begin.
This is six weeks of releasing that weight with intention, along with Venus, and with Aepril guiding and supporting. Transformations around money, relationships, and power.
Inanna is the goddess of love and war, Queen of Heaven. Her star is Venus, and we’ll work with the archetypal reading of her descent.
The Goddess went down through seven gates to make a bid for rulership, and at each gate a doorkeeper requested one of her ornaments: The turban. The lapis at her throat. The pectoral, the gold ring, the measuring rod and line, the dress of queenship.
Ereshkigal, the dark face of the goddess, was waiting. Grieving, unwitnessed. Inanna doesn't conquer the underworld nor is she is rescued from it. But she meets her other self and she comes back larger than she could ever have been as the sunlit one alone. Whole and more powerful.
What that looks like:
You reclaim life. Desire. You stop working for love. You find your inner home. You get clearer on what you actually want and what you settle for, which changes what you will accept in a relationship and what you will charge for your work. The parts of yourself you have kept underground, the appetite, the rage, the wanting, come back up as available power instead of leaking out sideways. You get to be desired as the whole of yourself rather than admired for competence.
We work this alongside Venus. She turns retrograde in Scorpio and moves back through Libra before she returns to us. In Scorpio she wants everything or she wants nothing and she will go down into the dark to find out which. In Libra she craves beauty and demands justice and refuses to choose between them. The sky is doing this work whether or not we join it. We are choosing to go intentionally, aligning.
How we’ll work:
Wednesdays, six weeks, October 7th to November 11th.
Six weeks, following Venus through her retrograde. Three distance packages and three live gatherings, alternating.
The gatherings run 2.5 hours.

- Package one, October 7th. Venus has stationed retrograde at 8 degrees of Scorpio. The approach and the inventory. Hailing the Dark Goddess.
- Gathering one, October 14th. We open. The first gates, and what you have come for.
- Package two, October 21st. Erishkigal’s Throne. Approaching the ancient survival crocodile. The ornaments set down. On the 23rd Venus meets the Sun at 0 Scorpio, invisible, the deepest point, and a new Venus cycle begins in that darkness.
- Gathering two, October 28th. Venus crossed into Libra on the 25th. movement, the seven gates, the transformation. The Goddess calls for justice and beauty.
- Package three, November 4th. The meeting of Light Self and Dark Self.
- Gathering three, November 11th. The reclaiming of power and the rise. Venus stations direct on the 13th.
